8 pupils were selected to help in the Hydroponics project for the P3 level. They helped to harvest the first batch of vegetables grown by the vendor using the hydroponics system.

What is different about hydroponics and normal growing of vegetable using soil?
Hydroponics uses only water. There is no soil involved. All you need is water and nutrients and the vegetable can grow. The whole system is run on solar power which helps to pump water to the plants. So we do not need to water the plants at all. All we need to do is to add nutrients into the water. So simple!!
There is also no pest that attacks the plants and so there is no harmful pest-killing chemicals. It's very healthy and fresh!
