We can use unit method to solve this.
Since we know, 8 feet --> 5 feet
that means, 1 feet --> 5/8 feet
so, 31 feet --> 5/8 x 31 = 19.375 feet (using a calculator)
So the answer is 19.375 feet. I hope it helps.
